These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website www.theoryreading.in (the “Website”) and the purchase of physical products (paper books) offered on the Website (the “Products”). The Website is owned and operated by THEORY READING INDEX PRIVATE LIMITED, having its address at Sainik Colony, Sector-D, Greater Kailash, Jammu, PIN 180011, Jammu & Kashmir, India (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Website, submitting your contact and delivery information, or purchasing any Product, you (“you”, “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Website or purchase Products.

1. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

• You represent that you are competent to contract under applicable law. If you are using the Website on behalf of an entity, you represent you have authority to bind that entity.

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during checkout (including your name, email address, phone number, and any other delivery/contact details requested) and to ensure such information is correct so we can deliver the Product and contact you about your order.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your order confirmation and any communications we send to the email address/phone number you provide at checkout, and for promptly notifying us if you believe your order details have been misused or accessed without authorization.

2. Products (Paper Books)

• Products sold on the Website are physical paper books. Delivery is made via shipping/courier to the delivery address you provide at checkout, and you are responsible for ensuring your delivery details (including address, PIN code, and phone number) are accurate and that someone is available to receive the shipment.

• Use of Products: Products are sold as physical goods for your personal use (unless expressly stated otherwise on the Product page). You must not reproduce, scan, copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any copyrighted content contained in the Products except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

• Restrictions: You must not:

• copy, scan, reproduce, distribute, resell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, share, publish, upload, transmit, or make any copyrighted content from the Product available to others (including via file-sharing, torrents, or public links);

• remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices;

• modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works from any copyrighted content in the Product except to the extent permitted by law;

• use the Product for commercial coaching, training, or redistribution unless expressly authorized in writing by the Company.

3. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

• Product prices are displayed in INR.

• Prices may change at any time without notice, but changes will not affect orders already paid for.

• Taxes (including GST, if applicable) may be charged as per applicable law and shown at checkout.

• Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways and may be made using available methods shown at checkout, which may include cards, UPI, net banking, IMPS, wallets, or other methods offered by the payment gateway from time to time. We do not store your full card details or other sensitive payment credentials. Your payment is subject to the payment gateway’s terms and policies.

4. Order Confirmation and Shipping/Delivery

• An order is considered confirmed when payment is successfully received and you receive an order confirmation (on-screen and/or by email/SMS). We reserve the right to cancel an order (with a full refund of the amount received for that order) in cases such as suspected fraud, pricing/typographical errors, or non-serviceability of the delivery location.

• Estimated delivery timelines (if shown) are estimates only and may vary based on location, courier/serviceability, and other factors. Title and risk of loss in the Product pass to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. If you do not receive your order within a reasonable time after dispatch, contact us using the details in Section 14.

5. Refunds, Returns, and Cancellations

Refund/return eligibility (if any) is governed by our Refund and Return Policy published on the Website and incorporated into these Terms by reference. Any cancellation, return, replacement, or refund will be processed only in accordance with that policy and applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

• The Website, Products, and all content (including text, graphics, logos, design, and software) are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected by intellectual property laws.

• Except for the limited license granted in Section 2, no rights are granted to you.

We will acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 1 month from the date of receipt, in accordance with applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer protection laws and any mandatory statutory rights available to consumers.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
